Sigiriya

 

Sigiriya is a rock fortress. It belonged to 5th century AD. It was built by king Kasyapa. The story of Sigiriya, A long time ago a king called Dhatusena ruled in Anuradhapura. He had two sons named Muggalan and Kasyapa. Kasyapa was younger than Muggalan but he wanted to become king first. So, he killed his father and become king. Muggalan was very angry. He wanted to kill Kasyapa and become king. So Kasyapa ran away form and Anuradhapura and built a beautiful place on top of a rock so that nobody called catch him and kill him. This rope was called Sigiriya. The important things they are a prince. Also, the mirror wall too. They're a beautiful fresco too.
