My Future Dream

 

My future dream is to study well and prepare a beautiful future. For that, I hope to do well in university education. There I hope to be successful in the future when I refer to a valuable sector in the Future. Especially hoping to get admission for higher education. there I entered an international university and do my education. It is hoped that the parents will not be a burden anymore and cover the expenses by doing part time jobs. I hope to come back to Sri Lanka after finishing my education and get a good and advanced job again. hope to take good care of my parents and treated them well. I hope to take the name of Sri Lanka to a higher place someday. I dream of building good house, buying a BMW car, living a comfortable life and traveling to different countries. I am working hard come through that these dreams.

In ancient Sri Lanka

 

Most of the people of Sri Lanka Lived in village during the time of the ancient Sinhala kings. They were farmers. They cultivated Paddy and other different foot crops.

 These farmers did not own the land they cultivated. The field on which they grew their crop and the grasslands where their cattle grazed did not below to them. They belong to the nobles.

 The ancient king ruled the concrete with the help of the nobles. The nobles Governed the various provinces. The king made the laws with the help of the ministries. The ministers were those whose duty was to advise the Kings and to help them to make laws.

There was the chief in each village. He Settled quarrels among villagers and punished those who broke the law. So, he was the man to whom all the villagers took their complaints.

There were no schools then. The bhikkhus were the only people who know how to read and write. so, the temple was the place they are the children learn to read and write.

Vesak

This is a very special festival to the Buddhists. It is in May. People decorate their houses with colorful lanterns and paper streamers during this festival. It Celebrates birth, alignment and death of Lord Buddha. All these happened on a full moon day the month of May. All the Buddhist people in the world celebrated this festival. We go to the temple and observe sil. we make Vesak lanterns and pandals on this day. It is a colourfull festival. We go to temple Wearing white clothes and offer in flowers to the Lord Buddha. In the evening, we visit the Dansal. where food or drink for free anyone. Buddhist people don't eat meat or drink alcohol on this Poya day. On this day people are doing lot of activities and enjoy the day. 🙏🎕😇

My favorite leisure time activity

 

My favorite Hobby is riding my electric bike. Going It makes me very happy. And when I ride one, I feel very free. I love to sing songs while riding my bike. It feels my mind. Also, I think. about a lot of things while riding the bike. I plan what really need to be planned. When riding a bike, I can enjoy everything. Also, I am experiencing how to be careful how to be drive on the road. I bought this bike in the seven months of last year. Now I can ride it well and I have a license. I would like to go on a long trip on this bike. But I Haven't had a chance yet. But I will definitely go on a trip one day. A solo day out with my bike.

Favorite lecturer

 

 

My favorite lecture is Chandana Rajamanthree sir. He is the teacher who taught us Tamil language. He taught us Tamil language online for over three months. Even though I did not study Tamil properly even in school, I found Tamil language very easily due to the method taught by him. He thought the language for a very basic level. Most of the students who were with me in the lecture Were a group of people who had not studied Tamil properly in school. After coming to the university, He studied Tamil language grammar very well. Chandana Sir, who taught a difficult language in a very interesting way, is a teacher who will always remain in my heart. He knows how to sing very sweetly. And the children were taught his subject very lovingly. With the knowledge taught sir, I will face the ordinary level exam well. I expect a good result for it. I am thankful form the bottom of my heart for the knowledge given by the teacher😇📖.......

My favorite YouTube channel is Pavani Pereira's vlog. She is Sri Lankan woman living in Japan. Through her YouTube channel, she brings us the daily life event of her husband and son living in Japan. I love watching the video she brings. Because the country I love is Japan. Watching the movement of beauty brought by why makes you want to visit that country. Sister Pawani and her husband Chathuranga are very happy to start living in Japan with the little son Riyu ski. Her voice is very sweet. The way Chaturanga takes care of his wife very endearing. I also love watching rum baby's cute works. So beautiful Lady Pavani Akka I wish you all the best and I would love to meet and talk one day.  😍💗

                                                        

Important of Trincomalee

 

Trincomalee is situated in Eastern province. It is very important district in our country. The most important thing is the naturel harbor. If you visit there, you can see these places. There are some places that we can hide a ship form the enemies. That's why foreigners try to catch up our country. Not only that but also you can visit number of important places there. The Koneswaran Kovil is another Place, both Sri Lankan and the foreigners Visit there. The various races in our country Visit too. Also, there are 7 Hot water springs. You can get a real hot water experience there. I cannot actually believe it. the Prima flour factory, Navy camp, Mabel beach, Nilaveli beach another important place there. You can get sea bath at Nilaveli we too had a sea bath.

Finally, I can say that Trinamool is one of the most important places you can visit. you can visit it near future and get a good experience

Butter cake recipe

As ingredients for one kilo of butter cake recipe 

• ❤ Flour - 250g
• ❤ Sugar - 250g
• ❤ Eggs - 250g (six)
• ❤ Butter - 250g
• ❤ Vanilla flavoring - 1 teaspoon
• ❤ Baking powder - 2 teaspoon

First of all, add two teaspoons of baking powder to the flour and sift it a few times with a sieve, keep the sifted flour aside and start making the cake mixture. 😀 First of all, take a bowl and put the room temperature butter in it, add sugar to it and beat until the sugar dissolves a little. after that, the eggs are added to the chickpeas and beaten with a beater. After that, put some oil or butter on the prepared tray and put the cake batter on it. Put the tray in the oven and bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes. After baking, take the cake out and after it cools well, you can cut it into pieces and serve😍🎂....

Weli pawuru film

 One of the nicest movies I've seen is called "Weli pawuru". The story is about parents. It was a movie that touched my heart. In fact, through the movie Weli pawuru, the responsibilities and duties performed by parents to their children were clearly shown with love and kindness. But in return, we realized that the duties, responsibilities, love and kindness that should be fulfilled by the children to the parents are not received in that way. It is really deteriorating in today's society. Society has changed to such an extent that most children neglect their responsibility to take care of their parents who have raised and cared for them since childhood. Thats not a good thing. I see this kind of design for today. I appreciate adding something new to the society through this kind of design. 😀📽💖

I am a foodie girl. anyone who sees me understand that Why I say that, because I am fat. But I like to cook than eat. I can make different kind of food. My family likes to eat the food I cook. I learn to cook from my grandmother. She prepared many delicious meals when we were children. I learned how to cook dishes that I don't know through YouTube. The channel I watched the most is wild cookbook, MR Kitchen. I cook a lot of food by looking at their recipes.

Corona situation I was at home alone until my mother returned at home after her works. At that time, I develop my cooking skills. I can remember when I first learned to make food is hoppers alone, I made a lot of mistakes, but I did not give up. When I make mistakes, I threw away these mixtures.

 First of all, I did not set out to make hoppers. I was going to bake buns. But mother had mistakenly put rice flour in the bottle where she always puts bread flour😕, So the mixture was wrong😂. Finally, I change the mix that was used to make the buns and made hoppers out of it. But so far, my hoppers are tastier than mother's homemade hoppers, and crispy👌. The only difference was that it tastes like milk powder😉. When I make mistakes will cooking, I learn something new❤

 I made a lot of foods like hoppers, donuts, buns, puddings, cakes, rice and curries, fried rice, koththu, shawarma, petis, watalappan, gajoru, gnanakatha, roti, pizza, drinks, samosa, Udu wade, Malu Banis, etc..... I like to make more delicious food. It can relax my mind. I think cooking is very important for my future life💗😋

 

Sigiriya

 

Sigiriya is a rock fortress. It belonged to 5th century AD. It was built by king Kasyapa. The story of Sigiriya, A long time ago a king called Dhatusena ruled in Anuradhapura. He had two sons named Muggalan and Kasyapa. Kasyapa was younger than Muggalan but he wanted to become king first. So, he killed his father and become king. Muggalan was very angry. He wanted to kill Kasyapa and become king. So Kasyapa ran away form and Anuradhapura and built a beautiful place on top of a rock so that nobody called catch him and kill him. This rope was called Sigiriya. The important things they are a prince. Also, the mirror wall too. They're a beautiful fresco too. Even now we can see some of these pictures and some ruins of the buildings🪨♔...

Beautiful Memories of My Grandmother

                                                                            

I have fond memories of my grandmother. she was a beautiful woman. She took care of us very lovingly. My grandmother took care of me from childhood. I can remember when I was a child, my grandmother put me to sleep in her bed. I sleep like that while she was there, now she is not alive😔💔. My grandmother looks after me when my mother went to work. Indeed, she is like a mother to me. As a child, grandmother was told interesting stories. Delicious food was also prepared for us. I have many beautiful memories written in my heart about my grandma. on that day we celebrated her 70th birthday, she was very happy about it 🎂👵. We were felt love, kindness & protection. when grandma was sick, we took care of her as best we could. I wish her well. The "Aththamma niwan gihin..." song also reminds me of her memories💝🙏

The motivational programme of Miss Chathurangi Abeshika how to learn English is very interesting way. She is a lecturer in the department of history and theory of dance and drama on our university. She won a first-class honor degree in video choreography subject. She has completed her master's degree in mass communication, she is a director, she got an award for her short film. in this way, we were introduced to Mrs. Sumudu to Miss Chathurangi.

Miss. Chathurangi explained many things to us about the value of learning English. Meanwhile, she discussed the methods used to learn and various things that led to learning. According to her, learning English can change our life. She is such a wonderful person. She has explained to us based on her experiences. And she also taught us about various things that we can acquire the knowledge. According to her, if we want to learn English, we have the interest and desire, we can reach a better place. I really want to thank our Dr. Sumudu from the bottom of my heart for giving us first year students such a valuable opportunity. 💖

My name is Bashini Prabodya Rathnayake. I live in Kurunegala. My hometown is Melsiripura. I am 22 years old. I live with my family. There are five members in my family. They are my parents and siblings. My parents are teachers. They are very kind and helpful my everything. I have elder sister and younger brother. My elder sister is an undergraduate in University of Kelaniya. In her third year. My younger brother works at Laugfs eco company.

I went to Ibbagamuwa central collage for my advanced level exam. Now I am an undergraduate University of the visual and performing art in Colombo. In the department of dance and drama. In my first year. I enjoy my university life and Study very seriously. 

I have an electric bike. I like traveling, browsing an internet, reading books, cooking & watching in movies. My favorite actress is Saai Pallavi. She is very talented actress. My favorite lessor time activity is dancing. I like to eat noodles and rice and curry. I want to be a lecturer one day. I work hard for that dream come true. 😊💓
